Haha, no. Our set of games is a constantly evolving collection that we’ve invented in various party scenarios and fine-tuned during play. The games are different every time because big parts are made up on the spot by the players each time they’re played. These aren’t “dirty” versions of games you already know. Is this a sex party?
We prefer “sexy party,” as the goal of the games is playful self-expression and exploration, not necessarily sex. If you’re looking for anonymous sex with strangers or some sort of detailed scene in particular, you should look elsewhere. That said, clothes do tend to be shed; people do tend to get very comfortable with one another; and boundaries do have a way of melting away before your eyes.
Who comes to play?
Open-minded, creative and adventurous people who fall much more toward the “participant” side on the “participant / spectator” spectrum. Ages range from early-20s to mid-60s (averaging in the mid- to late-30s or so). Players are confident in their sexuality, whether straight, bi, gay, queer or anything else. A rudimentary screening process insures that each night has a good mix of sexy folks.
I’m single. Can I play?
Sure, as long as you bring someone with you. All players must come to game nights with a partner — whether lovers, friends or anything else (true story: two people once came on a second date!). There are a number of reasons why we have this policy and we don’t make exceptions.
How do you handle consent within the games?
We take consent very seriously and want people to have fun and be comfortable no matter where the games go. Each game is designed with “outs” that are just as fun as the “ins,” so nobody ever has to feel bad for reaching a boundary they don’t want to cross or turning down a request they can’t fulfill for whatever reason.
However, that said, this is a sexy party so you should be comfortable expressing that part of your personality. Be ready to show some skin and get very comfortable with friends and strangers.
I don’t live in LA. How can I play these games?
Game nights are semi-regular in Los Angeles with occasional occurrences in San Francisco, New York and Black Rock City. If you’re outside our regular routine, drop us a line. We may be coming to your city soon.

Who are you?
We’re a married couple who have always enjoyed fun and adventure. We started Adult Parlour Games because the type of scenes we love don’t really exist here in LA. This is our attempt to bring some fun, daring and sex-positive adventure to the City of Angels.
